Chief Executive Officer of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg was seen training with UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski in a Tweet from Adesanya on Tuesday (July 11).
“No Fugazi with Mark. This is serious business,” Adesanya tweeted with a picture of him with Zuckerberg and Volkanovski.
The picture soon went viral on social media where many of the users thought that Mark is preparing for his “potential” bout with the Chief Executive Officer of Tesla Motors Elon Musk — which has been a topic of discussion among MMA fans for the past week.
While Zuckerberg is heavily active to maintain his fitness, Musk has not been messing around as he, too, was seen training with the former MMA star Georges St-Pierre (GSP) last week.
It must be noted that Zuckerberg has been undergoing jiu-jitsu training and has also won medals in competitions while Musk has been involved in a number of fights during his time in South Africa, according to the UFC boss Dana White.
It all started on June 21 when Musk responded to a report Zuckerberg was going to launch his own version of Twitter, to which Elon responded, "I'm up for a cage match if he is lol [laugh out loud]".
The Facebook founder got wind of the tweet and decided to send up a message of his own, writing "Send me location," which suggests that he is really serious about the fight.
However, a new spark between the two lighten up quickly since Zuckerberg — who with the help of all the fired Twitter employees — opened his own similar-to-Twitter application named “Thread” and Musk’s legal people sent a stern letter threatening Meta with a lawsuit.
